With Christmas around the corner, many businesses may be getting ready to wind down for the year.  Amongst the Christmas parties, cheer and celebrations make sure you take a moment to think about what happens after Christmas.  Is the first part of the New Year your busiest time or is it at some other time during the year?  No matter when it is as your business gets back to business in the New Year here are some things to think about:

1.  What money could your business really use next year?  What would the money be for and where would it come from?

2.  If your business could do 10X more of anything – what would it be?  Growth?  Improvement to customer referrals?  A larger social media following?

3.  If December 31 is your year-end, get your information over to your accountant quickly so that you don’t miss your filing deadline for tax season.  Your account may be able to help you with #1 and #2 as well.

In the coming weeks spend some time thinking about how your business will come out of the gate strong in 2014 which may include spending some time on your company finances which we would be happy to help with 😉

“How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?” – Dr. Seuss
